BIO

Rebecca Rothmaler is a freelance makeup artist and licensed esthetician.  She attended FIT for Fine Arts where she realized her love of color and creation.   After graduating she went to Atelier Esthetique on Park avenue where she studied esthetics.  She’s been working in the beauty industry since 2008 giving skincare treatments at Spas on Long Island and Manhattan.  In summer 2015 she decided to go back to school to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a full time professional makeup artist.  She enrolled into the Makeup Forever Academy in Soho NY learning makeup for beauty, fashion, tv, film, theatre, and body painting.  She is continuing to explore all aspects of these art forms.  Upon graduating she has worked on sets for film working on actors and performers.  She has worked with fashion photographers, designers and top agency models here in NYC.  She does beauty makeup for private clients and brides in the New York region.  She is passionate, hard working and loves the world of beauty, art, and creation.  

Work Experience

In 2022 Becky received accolades for her work with Marc Bouwers Fashion Film winning “Best Makeup,” in the London Fashion Film Festival and “Best Makeup and Hair Style,” at the UK Fashion Film Festival. Becky has worked with beauty and fashion brands such as What Goes Around Comes Around, The M Jewelers, Revlon, NaKd Fashion and Apparis. She has had work published in Elle Bulgaria, Wonderland, Schon Magazine, Vulkan, Nylon Spain, Blanc Magazine, Mod and many others. She’s worked backstage at NYFW keying her first presentation for Marc Bouwers SS20 collection and again for SS22 virtual fashion film.
